February, which this year has 29 days (as it’s a leap-year) has indeed begun where January left off, with a few images from previous trips still being processed and placed online for the first time.
January, the beginning of a fresh new year. So many possibilities, so many choices, and so many shots.
The month began with a few local trips and something of an obsession with water droplets on blades of grass, brought on by the low angled winter sunlight and the abundance of damp, cold grass. This was then quickly followed up with a very picturesque (but very, very cold) hoar-frost morning shoot. I still have a few images from this trip to work through, so you can expect one or two more chilly images soon. From that early start to another, this time from a photo-walk along the local canal, a short but interesting trip that ended up providing the image of the month (see below).
As January rolled by I started to turn my attention to my Challenges for 2012, which lead me to start working on the Animal challenges by spending a day Paignton Zoo. Again I have more images to process from this trip, so February will begin where January left off, with images of Animals.
